The Autumn Collection: Inspiration
We design all of our products in-house, and with this new launch we thought it would be cool to share a sneak peek of our internal process and influences.
This season we wanted to take our most popular designs, such as "Desert Willow" and "Florette", and ask ourselves why do people love them so much? And the answer is that even though they are very minimal, they each do a great job of evoking a romantic, botanical sensibility without too many bells and whistles. Line art illustration paired with a simple typographic composition inspired us to develop many designs in our new Autumn Collection. Simply effortless.
With 17 new designs, the common thread throughout stems from pairing current botanical trends with modern minimal typography. You will find a nice mix of hand drawn lettering, textured paint brush strokes, simple typography, bold large typography play, and a new batch of freshly picked floral illustrations. No need for extra design elements.
Our color palette was inspired by nature, but also picking up on more earthy tones such as deeper yellows and grays for fall. Of course these colors can all be customized and they were selected to get you started.
We designed these invites with weddings in mind, but they are built to be flexible enough to work well for events of all kinds, such as birthday party celebrations, family gatherings, random parties, even quinceaneras!
